Products of the EOL [multimedia seminar milfontes 1999] In may 1999 a transnational team of trainers from Finland, Portugal and Germany met in Vila Nova de Milfontes (Portugal) to reflect their experiences concerning their local realizations of the English Online Lesson (EOL), to create a realistic didactic concept of the EOL which fits to the local learning conditions in each country and to create a homepage which will be used as a guideline to produce a handbook of the EOL. This homepage is also a documention of the capability of the trainers to prepare fotos for the web: The handbook concept is accompanied by a serie of fotos of the environment of Vila Nova de Milfontes. Watch out the result: EOL, handbook concept [radio salite] Radio salite` was brought into being in 1997. Two roughly 30-minute long radio programmes in the form of an audio cassette were produced by students from Finland, Portugal and Germany. It contained their favourite music and short presentations in English which where worked out together in `transnational editorial online meetings´ taking place on a weekly basis. Listen to the Jingle of radio salite! [World Tune] World Tune is a type of acoustic barometer that gives an impression to the listener of the vibrations in our world at a given time. The passer-by strolls past a sculpture about 7½ feet high which emits acoustically optimized sounds from all over the world.
